Who Should Attend :-

Teachers teaching in Primary and Secondary Schools.

Objectives :-To train teachers working in Government and Private educational institutions for introducing yoga in schools & release the stress & fear among children.

Pre-requisite/ Eligibility Teachers teaching in Primary and Secondary Schools

Total Course Duration :- 300Hrs

Minimum hours :-

  • Theory & Practical – 60 hours
  • Assignment- 20 hours
  • Exam (Theory & Practical)-18 hours.

Course Content :-

(TYTC)Theory-1: Introduction to Yoga and its Streams – Credit 2
  • Yoga its origin, history, meaning, definitions and misconceptions.
  • Jnana Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Raja Yoga, Karma Yoga and Unity in Diversity.
  • Raja yoga through patanjali yoga sutras
  • Kriyas, Mudras and Bandhas

(TYTC)Theory-2: YOGA FOR TOTAL PERSONALITY DEV- 2 Credits
  • Anatomy & Physiology - Modern and yogic perspectives.
  • Yoga and personality Development.
  • Yoga and Eye sight improvement.
  • Yoga and Physical stamina Enhancement.
  • Yoga and Voice culture.
  • Yoga and Stress management.

(TYTC)Theory-3: YOGA FOR TOTAL PERSONALITY DEV-IYM 2 - Credit 2
  • Concentration Development.

Course Schedule :-

Total Course Duration- 6 months


Holidays/vacations- Chinese new year- 10 days, Christmas / New year- 10 days and all calendar holidays of Singapore except Sundays

Week days (Monday to Friday)

Day Session- 10.00am to 3.00 pm (Lunch break 1.00pm to 2 pm)
Or
Evening Session- 7.00pm to 10.00pm



Weekends
Saturdays Session- 9.00am to 2.30pm and 3.00pm to 8.30pm (Lunch break 12.30pm to 1.30 pm; DRT 2.30 to 3.00pm; Tea break 4pm to 4.30pm)
Sundays Session- 8.00am to 1.00pm and 2.00pm to 7.00pm (Lunch break 1.00pm to 1.30 pm; DRT 1.30 to 2.00pm; Tea break 4pm to 4.30pm)
